VW Emissions Scandal

There is much to write about the recent VW Emissions Scandal that there will probably be serval reports about it.

The first of this series will be exactly who is effected:

Its the biggest VW scandal in the history of the company and they have published that about 1.2 million cars in the UK alone are effected by this event. Thats about one in ten diesel cars in the UK will need to be recalled. A break down of what vehicles are effected:
-508,276 VWs
-393,450 Audis
-76,733 Seats
-131,569 Skodas
-79,838 Vans

Although all petrol cars are said to be unaffected and any car that has been effected is still road worth and safe.

VW has said that it will contact all owners that have been effected over the next few days.

The British Government have also said that they will carry out their own emission tests on the cars and have called for a Europe-wide probe to this affair.
